+Hold 'C' to move the timeline playback to where your mouse is on the timeline

+'B' to quick swap the mount blade to cut a clip 
+'T' for the trim drag tool

+Command(Ctrl)+Shift+ square bracket open or close, to cut and delete to the left or right
